Hi i have a step daughter who out of the blue have accused me of something terrible but this is not the 1st time she has accused me and somebody else and on those other 2 seperate occasions have found out to be a lie, plus her real father has been diagnosed with this disorder along with paranoid schiophrenia and ocd so i was wondering if someone could help me and my step daughter please

Mark – sorry for the delay in the response. I have been up to my eyebrows in books attempting to prepare myself to answer questions like the one you asked. At this time I am wholly unable to answer that question as a “therapist” or a “clinical counselor.” The best I can offer is friendship- and an ear.

Understand – at this point I am not a therapist. However, if you would like, feel free to send me an email and I would chat about this. If you prefer and are comfortable, share it publicly – but I have to cordially ask that you change names to protect the confidentiality and anonymity of anyone you would be discussing if you decide to take the public option.

    Hello!

I am a psychotherapy intern (seeking a Marriage & Family Therapy credential) in SF’s Bay Area. I am always interested in learning about–and from–students in other states. As such, I look forward to reading you posts.

    Best!
    Alison Panko
